The youth and families served by David & Margaret Youth and Family Services (D&M) were already living with trauma and loss when the COVID-19 pandemic struck. They, like all of us, must now face the added stresses of COVID-19 to the best of their abilities and resources.
D&M is federally designated as an essential service provider and as such, continues to deliver impactful services to the youth and families who rely on D&M.
Keeping our personnel safe is a must for they provide the care and support that our foster families and youth, those receiving mental health services and young adults and families in transitional housing rely upon. . . and we must keep all our clients safe! To ensure the safety of both clients and personnel David & Margaret is providing personal protective equipment and enforcing personal interaction protocol. David & Margaret staff check-in daily on the well-being of clients. For those clients who have lost their jobs or cannot leave their residences, David & Margaret is providing food, cleaning supplies and toiletries.
