A little bit about Santos: “I was born and raised in L.A., where I spent most of my younger years surrounded by Southsiders and good taco joints. I eventually got tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and decided to do some soul searching up north. I lived all around the Pacific Northwest, but no place was quite like home. I eventually moved back to be closer to my family and start one of my own. I was blessed with a beautiful little girl, who nowadays occupies most of my time. I recently joined David & Margaret as part of the security team, and though I haven’t been here long, it’s been an amazing experience seeing firsthand how they are making a difference in so many youths’ lives.”
What do you most enjoy about working here? “I love that everyone at David & Margaret shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission of helping others. It’s truly inspiring.
If you could learn anything, what would it be and why? “Definitely how to cook! My four-year-old daughter is catching on that I’m a fraud in the kitchen.”
Who are your role models? “Jesus, my dad, and Jay Z, in that order.”
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up, and why? “I wanted to be a rapper. Growing up in the ‘90s, I listened to a lot of hip hop and rap music. Everything those rappers were saying would resonate with me. I wanted to do the same and tell others my story. I had a little rhyme book and everything. As a matter of fact, check me out on Soundcloud!”
Saying or motto you live by? “This too shall pass.”
